Practicing mindfulness techniques such as meditation, yoga, deep breathing, or tai chi can help mitigate stress and promote relaxation. Engaging in hobbies, spending time in nature, and maintaining strong social connections are also effective ways to manage stress.

Another vital component of preventing oxidative stress is staying hydrated. Dehydration can impair the body’s natural detoxification processes, leading to an accumulation of toxins and free radicals. Aim to drink adequate amounts of water throughout the day to support cellular functions and overall health. Herbal teas and infused water with fruits and herbs can also contribute to your hydration.

It’s essential to limit exposure to environmental toxins, as these can increase oxidative stress levels. This includes avoiding smoking, reducing alcohol consumption, and minimizing exposure to pollutants and chemicals found in household products. Whenever possible, choose organic foods to reduce your exposure to pesticides and contaminants.
